Phil Goddard Principal
After completing 2 years of Bible College in the seventies, entered the building construction industry gaining experience in all phases of construction including heavy industrial, commercial and residential construction. As a contractor, constructed commercial and residential buildings. In 1985 entered the building codes field as a combination building inspector. As the building official in the city of
Brighton Colorado organized and directed the first building department. In 2000 entered the private sector working for a code consulting firm. Instituted the first building code course and developed a building code technology certificate program at Front Range Community College in Westminster, Colorado. Throughout his career in the code field has attended numerous technical code institutes and participated in the Colorado Chapter of ICBO and ICC as well as national code conferences.
Since forming the first of two code consulting firms beginning in 2001, formed a design firm to integrate code consulting expertise and quality control with the design process.

Sherryn Hensley Assoc. AIA
Project Manager
Sherryn graduated with a Master's degree in Architecture from the University of Colorado at Denver in 2001. Her thesis, titled “Qualitative Programing, Privacy and Communication in Office Design” continues to be an area of interest. Sherryn also graduated with special honors from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a bachelor's degree in Environmental Design. Sherryn's project
experience is largely in office and school design. She passed her plan's examiner certification test in 2006 and is an expert on ADA design issues.
Sherryn's primary design objective is to give the client a habitable space that is both conducive to the culture of the school/ business as well as being safe, well built, energy efficient, and aesthetically pleasing.
On a personal note, Sherryn has spent 10 years working with tribal peoples in the Amazon basin, is fluent in Spanish, enjoys spending time with her family and volunteering with her church and her sons' school.

Travis Smith PE | Structural Engineer
Travis has over ten years of structural design experience on a wide range of projects. He has performed analysis, design, and coordination with other design professionals on buildings and bridges throughout the United States. He has been a project leader on many of these jobs. His breadth of experience includes retail space, multi-family residential, office buildings, churches, light industrial facilities, government, health care facilities, and educational facilities.
Travis has always tried to contribute to the community and give back some of the blessings that have been provided to him and his family. He applies his professional experience by serving on the City of Arvada Building Code Advisory Board. During his personal time, he serves at a local home for neglected and abused teens by performing general maintenance and upkeep, serves in a leadership role for his church, and has traveled to Vietnam with the church to install water purification systems in the rural villages.

Marie Fitzpatrick PE | Electrical Engineer
Marie started her engineering career in 1976, at the firm of Garland D. Cox Associates, Inc. After several years of design work, she began attending night school in engineering and received her degree from Metropolitan State College of Denver. In 1993, she founded Fitzpatrick Engineering, Inc. Over the past 32 years, Ms. Fitzpatrick has developed a broad portfolio of experience in electrical system
design on numerous types of projects, including commercial retail, office, warehouse, light industrial, and institutional, government, medical university laboratories, churches, K-12 schools, colleges, health care facilities; residential including multi-family condominiums, townhouses, apartments and single family homes. Her experience on projects includes design of interior and exterior lighting, power, emergency power, fire alarm, and security systems. Project experience includes both remodel and new buildings with project size ranging from several hundred to tens of thousands of square feet. For the past five years, she has performed plan reviews for municipalities and state projects.
Ms. Fitzpatrick is a registered professional engineer in Colorado. She enjoys hiking, bicycling and travel.

Peter McDonald PE | Mechanical Engineer
Mr. Peter McDonald, P.E. has over 30 years of experience in the mechanical engineering field. He is directly responsible for the delivery of quality mechanical documents within the specified budget and schedule for all projects. This responsibility includes the control of the mechanical design and specifications; the project coordination; the project quality assurance; and the project management. Peter’s
detail-oriented approach leads to innovative solutions to complex issues.
Having worked on a wide variety of projects including both new construction and modernization/renovation projects including offices, educational, health care, transportation, and hospitality, and retail, industrial, religious and residential facilities. His extensive mechanical systems experience includes central chilled and hot water plants, air handling systems, VAV systems, packaged air conditioning units and related DDC control systems, underground heat and gas distribution systems. Plumbing systems include sanitary sewer systems, domestic water systems, storm water systems, medical gas and process piping systems.
Mr. McDonald has also provided mechanical and plumbing design review for code compliance and constructability for numerous public and private clients including The Town of Parker the State of Colorado, and the Colorado University System.
